Tony enjoys V.I.P. treatment!

Tony M. became a huge fan of Kate Gosselin of the hit TV show on TLC Network, "Jon & Kate Plus 8," when he was home resting after surgery and then subsequent chemo and radiation treatments. Tony was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer in August of 2007 and given four months to live. Miraculously he has defied all odds and is still battling the disease with the help of his family, friends, and caregivers.

Since he has been homebound for most of the past year, the one constant joy in his life has been for him to watch this incredible young woman, Kate Gosselin (with the help of her husband Jon), manage a household consisting of a set of twins and an adorable brood of sextuplets. Tony has always admired Kate's "I Can" philosophy, and when he heard that she was coming to Indianapolis to be a part of the Home Show, he said in passing to his daughter Julie, "gee..it would be nice to meet Kate in person."

With the help of Dick Wolfsie (WISH-TV/Channel 8) and Ms. Pat Pickett at Coles Marketing Communications, a private meet and greet was arranged for Tony and his daughter Julie with Kate. As you can see by the Cheshire-like grin on his face in the photos, Tony thoroughly enjoyed his time with Ms. Kate!
