Just made this wish a reality last week.

Got a call from the daughter of a dying man in Florida who was failing fast.  He wanted to see his other daughter (from a previous marriage) one more time before he died.  She lives in North Carolina, and funds are tight, so NTL stepped up...provided her with the funds for gas and food for the round trip...and you can read the rest of the story below.

Case in point where NTL is nimble enough to turn on a dime to get things done!

Love it when the dots connect this well and this quickly!!

Hello,

I'm writing to thank you for making my husband, Dennis L., wishes come true. His daughter Dawn W. arrived last Friday and left a few minutes ago. Before her arrival he was down, lifeless and giving up. The hospice nurse didn't think he would last the week out. Thanks to you and your organization you made a possible final visit possible..!! Words are not good enough to thank you and I'm not very good with saying the right things..but I did want you to know how much we appreciate all you did to make this visit possible...!!! He has improved slightly and enjoyed the visit tremendously.

Sincerely,
Sally L.

You all received the thank you e-mail from the wish recipient's wife earlier today...below is the thank you note (and photo) from his other daughter - the one who made the wish request on behalf of her Dad to see her half sister (from North Carolina).

Making end of life wishes happen sure is rewarding!!

Bob,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping my dad get to see his daughter one last time. I wanted to send you a picture of them. It is amazing the stamina he has and how much better he "seemed" while she was here. His smile when he saw her the first time, and him saying, "when did you get here?" was well worth it. He is a wonderful person, but more importantly, you are a wonderful person, too. What you and your organization did was something that would have never been able to happen without you. Thank you so much!! You'll never know what it meant to him!!!! Thank you and God bless you, Tammy H.-G.
