It's official...Never Too Late won the vote from last Friday's (5-19-06) choices on the CBS News Website...the
Assignment America section.
NTL got 48% of the votes....the Cluster Balloons received 28%---the Utah Ranger got 23%.
Steve Hartman (host of Assignment America), a CBS News producer and a CBS cameraman came to the Indy 500 track yesterday (Monday, May 22nd) to interview 86-year old Betty Eisenacher who went around the track with Davey Hamilton in the 2-seater Indy car at 165 mph. Attached is a photo of Betty - she ROCKS! - first thing she said when she got out of the race car (after her 3 laps) - Where's The Milk?!!
Tune into the CBS News (Channel 8 locally) this coming Friday, May 26th, between 6:50 PM and 7:00 PM EST for the Never Too Late segment...we'll see if our doors get blown off as far as wish requests go...or if the viewers will think "that's nice" and not respond much at all.
