Denise,

Below are comments from the Program Director at The Hearth at Prestwick Assisted Living facility and the daughter (Kris J.) of the wish recipient (87-year old Roberta S.).

The wish for 87-year old Roberta S. was to be able to see her 90-year old sister Lucille B. one more time. NTL paid for two airline tickets for Lucille and her niece Sandra S. (daughter of the deceased sister of Roberta and Lucille) to fly from Minneapolis to Indianapolis for the mini-reunion. The elder sister and niece stayed at The Hearth at Prestwick for two days.

Bob

Bob and Leigh,

I would like to thank you both from on behalf of our family. It was a wonderful weekend and one we will hold dear in our hearts. It was so special to see my mom and my Aunt Lucille together again. I know they enjoyed visiting with each other and my aunt was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the people at the Hearth.

The Never Too Late program provides awesome opportunities for elderly people. I applaud you and your desire to meet the needs of these people.

Again, thank you so much!

Kris J.

And to Bob Haverstick, from Leigh Harville, Program Director @ The Hearth at Prestwick:

Bob,

Thank you again for such a wonderful gift to Roberta, Lucille and family! They all had so much fun and really enjoyed their time together. Several of the kids, grandkids and great grandkids drove in for this reunion also. Kris and I met them at the airport on Friday and brought them back to the Hearth.

We had coffee and doughnuts and they were able to visit with their family. Many of the residents came to meet them and had a doughnut and some coffee. One of our residents even recalled that Lucille had recently had her 90th birthday and brought a birthday card to her that she'd made in card class here at the Hearth.

Lucille and Sandy had a great flight and enjoyed visiting with each other on the plane. They are terrific people and it was a great thing to see when the two sisters saw each other again!

Kris and Robert, 2 of Roberta's 6 children, took tons of pictures and said they would get them to me. I will send them along as soon as I get them.

Kris even pulled up the Never Too Late website on our facility's computer and was showing it to her cousins/extraneous relatives. They are all so thankful and impressed. They have so much praise for Never Too Late.

You do such wonderful things for people. Know it is deeply appreciated and I am honored to be able to play even a small part in something so great!

Gratefully,

Leigh & The Hearth Staff
