Notes Shared with The NTL Board Members:

Sixty-five year old Carl F. cannot read and comprehend the contents of the written word any longer since he had a stroke.  He can however, listen to the spoken word and fully understand what is going on around him.

The nursing home social worker asked NTL to provide Carl with a CD/Cassette player (no problem) and some Science Fiction books on tape/CD.  Because of a contribution by Taped Editions, a local Indianapolis firm that leases and sells books on tape and CD to libraries and individual consumers across the U.S., Carl is now enjoying the opportunity to listen to 30 different sci-fi titles.

What a great way to celebrate Wish Number 700 - providing a man with the pleasure of being able to "hear" the books he used to enjoy reading!!!
