Wishes in the Works:

Once upon a time...

                   ...way back in 2000, actually...

an organization called Never Too Late took on the task of granting wishes to the elderly and the terminally ill – we like to call them (excuse us Tom Brokaw) “The Greatest Generation.” You all know our mission, but what you may not know is our current situation.  In brief, Never Too Late needs your financial support to keep doing the work we’ve been doing these past seven years.

Though we have been able to raise most of the funds to grant the wishes, in the past, we have not needed to raise money to administrate the organization. Now we do. In simple terms, if Never Too Late is to continue its work, we must raise some money.

We know how “tapped out” everyone is these days. We know that you all give to various charities and non-profits throughout the year – your church, your schools, public TV, the Scouts and so many other deserving organizations. We hope to be able to garner support from large corporate sponsors, but the answer is too often  something like, “We love what you do, Never Too Late; it’s nice but not necessary.” We believe it’s both nice AND necessary to bring so much joy into the lives of the many forgotten seniors – almost 1,300 to date!

So, we’re asking you straight out: will you help us continue? Can you pledge an amount in a lump sum or perhaps a small monthly donation? If you would like to see our work continue, contact us as soon as possible. We would hate to stop our work, but the reality is, we can no longer continue without generating supporting funds from the people who believe in what we do.

All contributions are appreciated by the volunteers and staff of NTL but more importantly, by our wish recipients.  Can you help us some way?
