Hearts to the Never Too Late organization and the kind man who granted the wish of my mother, Linda
B.
My mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and her wish was to have a feather mattress and a steak dinner. Thank you for granting her dying wish.

Dear Mr. Haverstick,
Words can never thank you enough for the wonderful memory my daughter Joanne S. and I will cherish. NTL granted her wish to meet Reba McEntire when we attended the
Reba and Kelly Concert this past Friday (2/8/08) at Conseco
Fieldhouse.
To see the happiness in my daughter's smile will be moments to recall whenever her terminal cancer gives her pain and some bad days. We will talk about the special gift you shared through your generous time and efforts. God Bless you and all your contacts in your wonderful foundation of helpers.
If we can ever share our special experience to help others please let us know.
On
September 8, 2007, you and Bob Lamey, provided Roy
Surface of Frankfort, a day to remember by your visit at the
Clinton House Nursing Home. It seemed you must have gifted
everything that bore a Colts logo on it. Roy has had on his Colts
hat or socks every time we visited since then...We
will be forever grateful for the pleasure you and Mr. Lamey brought
to Roy.
"I really
enjoy your concept of helping the elderly
realize their dreams. Even when we do what we can to keep them
comfortable, their fantasy lives are rarely acknowledged, much less
indulged. Please let me know what, if anything, I can
do." Jody H.
"Thank you for coordinating the visit
of my mother with the mayor. She was the most mentally alert I
have seen in years." Betty S.
"...You are getting the ball rolling in many places,
enabling people to do good things for others. Many people have
the desire but don't know what or how. You are showing them
the way...!" Frank B.
"Thanks so much for doing what you do
to keep residents excited about life!" Karen S.
"You have not only made dreams come true but made new memories in
the process." Beth C.
"It was a great day as one of my dreams was
fulfilled." Eileen P.
"I want to thank you for making my Dad's dream of being in a race
car come true. Just seeing the look of joy on his face meant
everything to me. For a few short moments, my father became a
celebrity. This is something he will never forget." Darla B.
"I heard your project Never Too Late
mentioned on radio, then saw a picture of the elderly man in the race car
on TV and was impressed with your efforts." Lois M.
"The joy you've brought to our residents has
been overwhelming." Lisa S.
"Words cannot express the joy that you have given to me and
Tony." Jackie S.
"The elderly are so easily forgotten.
They don't feel well. The feel alone. Forgotten. Put
away in a nursing home. Betrayed. Simple things - yes, simple
things like riding a tractor or buying a dress or driving a race car lift
their spirits and make them feel important again." Audi C.
"My mother told me about your Never Too Late program. I
think that is brilliant and an incredible thing to do. It's programs
like yours that help our world become a better place." Amber I.
"I just wanted you to know I think this is
an absolutely wonderful thing you are doing! How neat to be able to make
someone's dream come true!" Jennifer L.
"Never Too Late certainly generates a lot of positive comments as
I discuss it with my friends. You have a wonderful mission."
Karen S.
"It must be so rewarding to see the smiles you are putting on
these people's faces - you are TRULY doing something that MATTERS!"
